Microbiology: automation and reliability
Current global health challenges, such as multidrug-resistant organisms (MDROs), force microbiology laboratories to be flexible and responsive to provide information at the right time. The efficiency of automatic systems makes it possible to improve therapeutic success, as correct and accurate identification of the germ according to the biotype generates an antibiogram which is the result of bibliographic searches using intuitive interfaces that select only sensitive antibiotics. This increases the efficiency levels of the microbiology laboratory, allowing for reduced handling times and rapid reporting.
